Early in 1920 the Hong Kong Legislative Council raised the estion of the resumption of the Military Establishment in Hong Kong, th at Victoria and Kowloon, The reasons that the Council urged were he lack of facilities for commercial expansion in the colony owing to c occupation by the Military Forces of land which would be of great

The Colony concurred in the principle that in eases where isting buildings are removed reprovision implies buildings on an
